Welcome toMt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church

Through God’s grace and His Blessings, Mt. Olive commemorated our 100th (Centennial) Anniversary in 2007, celebrating the entire year with special events and activities.

Established in 1907, Mt. Olive is the first and the oldest African-American Baptist Church in Flint and Genesee County. During the 2007 year-long celebration, an historical plaque was purchased and dedicated to recapping Mt. Olive’s historical past. It is located in the horseshoe courtyard, near the North entrance.
